It is a chilled filled Saturday and birds gliding along the bay are my companions.

They aren’t alone but in a group with occasional times they move about in their own space.

I am sitting near my Thin Space. The one that draws me here for years now. It is a place that transports me into this moment and beyond.

I have in childhood sat near the ocean, alone on the barrier rocks catching wind, sunshine and thoughts scattered into infinity and some that made pages.

So many years later I still am drawn to the sea. Have we changed, the sea that ebbs and flows over time carrying messages below and above its shimmering skin? I don’t question my changes they are there internally and visually, and so it is in this Thin Space.

Thin Space we are together again. I will visit you for as long as I can sit near you. You are breath taking, deep, magnificent, mysterious, glowing, reflective, majestic with your sun and Moon nearby to shed Light. Thank you for these moments.

I am here present in total quietude and graitude. There is nothing much we ask for now do we…just perhaps this time together, I with you and you with me. The ebb and flow of our existence and life force energy is enough for us.

We will continue to visit each other in high tides and low I in admiration and you sitting calmly by my side, or in turbulence, or caressing my face with the wind you are kicking up because you know me now and how much I love the wind.

We look out together as we take on our own movement in places here and there, only to look forward to the next time together.

It matters to me how you are these days below the surface and above it. I can only imagine you have the same concern for me. I carry you Thin Space within me so we understand each other in our unpredictable and predictable ways of being.

But sometimes we have to be face to face together to take each other in, carry us and set each other free.

That is why we are together for so many years Thin Space.

Soon it will be time to wiggle my toes in your shimmering water, sit down right into you and once again we will take hold of one another and see beauty, understanding, acceptance, magnificence and our vastness and we will continue this admiration and in our own way bow to one another in Thanksgiving.

You are within me and now near me and I remain ever thankful for our introduction years and years ago.
